Ah, this looks to be a schematic of some sorts, it’s quite old, but it details the structure of Mechanical Cells. I presume you’ve seen some in your travels?
They’re an old burial method, modeled after the ancient stone heads, but very different in function. One’s deceased body was placed inside, and underwent a process of mummification.
Then the roots below it would… seep their spiritual energy into the ground I suppose?
Only the wealthy could afford these, the less fortunate would simply be stuffed into smaller boxes.
