Gutter
Oh. This takes me back.
You got this from near Moon, I assume? I remember this place well.
The Shrine of the Laborers was, in the grand scheme of things, a very small site.
But it had some monumental importance to many of Moon and I's citizens.
The shrine was built on an ancient factory that represented the pinnacle of pre-Void fluid engineering.
At least within facility grounds.
It served as a way to honor the lives spent before the Void Fluid Revolution.
A decent amount of work had went into keeping the ruins intact. Modern architectural innovations were implemented such as organic compounds.
But it's an old, old structure, and those who cared for it grew few in number.
But when I was constructed, the True Annoited Citadel became shaded in my wake.
Ultimately becoming quite dangerous.
So that small, unassuming shrine dedicated to the early builders before the Void Fluid Revolution?
It served as one of the few decent alternatives to pilgrimmage to the Citadel.
So maintaining our bridges and railways was important.
As with many things with our citizens, especially pertaining to accessibility to places below the rainfall...
They were never really satisfied with what we could give them.
This pearl is proof of that. Inside is little more than a simple compilation of text data transcribing their issues with reaching the shrine.
Anyways, I can't imagine the place is doing too well now.
My overseers saw a lot of the devastation that transpired.
Moon's crash sunk the site into the floodplains around it.
Pretty impressive this managed to survive.
Well, thanks for recovering this. It's a nice look back on the past.
